Hey! I'm Janine,

Kuku Studio is my pandemic love-child, a small art exploration that turned into a fully formed ‘thing' in early 2021.
Originally named "Love Buzz Prints" Kuku was born on Etsy and sold over 10,000 prints! In 2023 I changed my shop name to include the first two letters of my married surname, and opened this online store, so that she can grow and continue to spread the "happy".

In a past life I was an advertising art director from New Zealand. After becoming a Mum I chose to focus on my illustration and design and never looked back.

Kuku Studios celebrates color, positivity, inclusivity, empowerment with a sass and humor all it's own.  Brightening the world, and your home one print at a time. Each of my prints are meticulously crafted, printed and packaged in my small studio in San Diego, where I live with my husband, growing-too-fast -dragon-boy child, our two and a half large dogs, and some very strange cats.
